Adjusting to the needs of modern tourism market requires forward-thinking and systematical monitoring and analysis of how particular jobs and skills are planned so as to meet the requirements of economy.

The factors for advancing innovation and development of Danube tourism are: high level of human resources competence; low level of human resources fluctuation; innovative and proficient knowledge of managers; understanding of customers’ needs; low costs of innovation and economic risk.

DCC strategy for reforming and developing Danube tourism, among others, implies more wide-spread training and educational system which would increase competence and professionalism, and that is thus related to being more oriented to innovation among managers, employees and users.
