26th December 2017

Following the goal to raise the quality of cultural interpretation along the archaeological sites on the Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route the set of interpretative panels are installed at the Imperial Palace in Sremska Mitrovica (Sirmium) in Serbia.

The panels are bilingual (Serbian and English) and on the one side they serve to present importance of the Sirmium as the seat of the Roman emperors, while on the other they focus on explanation of more specific archaeological, artistic, cultural and sociological terms and concepts typical for the Ancient Romans.

The activity was supported by German Organisation for International Cooperation in Serbia, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)
