The first thematic meeting of DECRA project in Forli, Italy
As a part of further development of ERASMUS + project DECRA (Developing European Cultural Routes for All) led by French Federation of European Cultural Routes and in which DCC takes part as a partner, the second transnational meeting took place between 19-23rd March in Italian city Forli, located on the ATRIUM cultural route.
Twenty representatives of European cultural routes of Council of Europe had an opportunity to present themselves during the three-day meeting. The main theme of the event was social inclusion and citizen participation in the framework of Faro convention. These particular initiatives were analysed in context of three words: access, participation and mirroring, combined with concrete, on field examples where participants had a chance to see how the local totalitarian heritage has been transformed by and for local communities.
Beside project coordinator of DCC Mr. Vladan Krečkovic, on behalf of Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route, two members of the route participated at the event. One was director of Scientific Committee of the Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route and director of Rousse Regional Museum of History Mr. Nikolay Nenov and Zsolnay Cultural Quarter historian, Mr. Daniel Poulet, both presenting their institutions and sharing the experiences related with work with local communities.
